Tariffs

We are so happy that the crazy 145% tariffs announced in the USA not long ago have been removed and that all the products we make in China will be coming in at just a 30% tariff now.  We have been in discussions with our suppliers ever since the 145% tariff was put in place and we had been working on getting some discounting from the factories to try to at least partially offset the tariffs.  Happily those concessions from our suppliers means that they are eating some of the 30% through a reduction in prices and we are able to eat the rest of it out of our end.

The result is that we are going to keep our prices the same for the forseeable future and NOT raise them as we had planned to do once our existing stock runs out.  We have a new shipment on the water already heading to the USA so we don't expect to run out of any of our major items including card sleeves and some of our most popular games and game accessories.  

Crowdfunding Roundup

We are moving forward with several new crowdfunding projects this year.  Our sister compnay Mayday Games took the crazy step of launching a Kickstarter for Lifeboats during the 145% tariffs but happily it is over 500% funded and they will be moving forward with the game with NO extra costs to backers.  Check out the game and consider backing it since it only has a few days left and some important stretch goals to achieve.

We are also happy to announce that Mayday will be moving forward with a Crokinole Kickstarter project in 2025 and have a pre-launch page you can subscribe to here.  It will include our new ELITE BOARDS which have been a big hit with the 2024 backers who selected it as an upgrade.  For the first time ever we will have a Kickstarter based on these new boards, featuring Mahogany and Walnut styles! 

We are launching Space Craft by Granna on Gamefound coming soon, you can check out this first-ever licensed game by Granna to the USA.  It is a very solid game and looks to be gaining a lot of followers already.  Please consider getting notified of that launch HERE. 

And finally, can you believe it has already been 10 years since Dead Man's Draw was released?  Mayday is also launching a special 10-year anniversary edition soon.  This version will feature 12 all-new cards, several new playing variants along with a 4-sided bone die to boot!  This one is going to be really special!
