Exploding Kittens is a fast-paced game that entertains up to five players. You can't play the game without all of your cards, however, so keeping them in pristine condition is important for playing the beloved game for many years. Investing in Exploding Kittens card sleeves can keep your cards from getting damaged during gameplay.

Exploding Kittens Card Sleeves

Because Exploding Kittens is a card game, you can't play it anymore if the cards become torn, stained or ripped. The best way to keep your cards in great shape is to keep them encased in card slaves for protection. The best card sleeves for Exploding Kittens are those that are slightly bigger than the cards themselves.

Specifications

There are 56 cards in a deck of Exploding Kittens. Each one measures 63 x 88 millimeters long, so standard card sleeve sizes used by many collectable card games are best for this game.

How to Play Exploding Kittens

The goal of Exploding Kittens is to be the last player standing by avoiding the Exploding Kitten cards. If you draw an Exploding Kitten card, you are immediately out of the game unless you counter the action with a Diffuse card.

To begin the game, deal each player five cards, including one Diffuse card each. Place all of the other cards in a single deck face down and insert the Exploding Kitten cards. There should be one less Exploding Kitten card than the number of players. For example, if you have four players, there should only be three Exploding Kitten cards throughout the deck.

Each player takes turns drawing cards. Most of the cards are either action cards or random cat cards. If you have action cards in your hand, you can play them at the beginning of your turn. They allow you to do things such as peek at the top three cards from the draw deck, skip your turn or shuffle the deck. They are intended to help you avoid the Exploding Kittens card. The random cat cards have no action, but if you play a set of two or three, you may steal a card from another player.

If you draw an Exploding Kitten card, you must play a Diffuse card to stay in the game. If you do not have a Diffuse card, you are immediately booted out of gameplay.

The final type of card you can have is the Nope card. Playing this card allows you to nullify any action except a Diffuse card or an Exploding kitten card. For example, if another player tries to steal your Diffuse card by playing three matching cat cards, you can counter with a Nope card to keep the other player from taking the one you need.

Exploding Kittens is a fast-paced game. The player who is most successful in avoiding the Exploding Kitten cards wins the game.
